Growing Pains

My legs hurt, Pa put me in water, and then they felt better.

Then he took me to see Krenshar.

Krenshar wants to have Aurora back. He said "I want to get your sister back".

There is only one way for that to happen.

I wonder what his choice will be when the time comes.

Lily brought me some fabrics, and they are pretty. She said I can stay with her up in the HoTel, but Pa say that not such a good idea. So she say we can stay in the tower, which is just like the home we had in Blackburne.....so I have put some of my things there. Mostly, though, I just roam through the mines. I will need to travel soon, and that will require some coins. I don't want to ask Lily for them, because she would just try to give me back the ring.

I have to smile when I see her, actually, she is so simple. Simple program, I mean. Very low functioning in many ways. In other ways, she has a complexity to her that defines any thing near comprehension. And, until I fully understand, and have learned all of the things she knows, I cannot grow any further. And, until I can grow further, I cannot really defend myself.

So I hide in the mines. A lot. And I wait.
