I have been here, in Al Raquis, for near on to a month, and I have still not found my old friend. But, when I was walking in sand looking for the singer, I saw Lily. Lily Snoodle. She was talking to some sort of being, of what type I am not certain. I could not come close enough to hear them. I could read Lily's lips though, and one thing she said over and over and over. "You tell Miss Ardra".
When the frail looking one went away, I came back to the town, and talked to the old man. I would make him walk again but I am not sure he actually wants to. He seems to like the role he has taken on, so the right thing for me to do is offer him the opportunity, but he has to decide. That is something I have learned about them. They like to decide. I wanted to follow, but most of the ships were locked and the ones that were not required additional power. I cannot generate the kind of power needed to drive a huge ship. Maybe I have to learn from her, or maybe I am not yet matured enough. I did find this vehicle, though, and I took it.
See?
And then it occured to me. The energy required was right there all the time.
So I took it.
Now, I am keeping an eye on things, to make sure she doesn't do anything wrong. Last night, I saw her watch through a window. She was watching him. The Myrmidon.
I saw them talking, away from everyone else, too.
I may have to speak, but, if I do, I have to start over. This is the furthest I have ever gotten. I don't want to start over.
I will explore the underearths here on Splintered Rock, Mu Draconis, Al Raquis, and every other place I can. There are different materials here.
I am somewhat more than a little concerned about Lily and the Myrmidon, actually.
They were there, all blue and sparkling, just like the first time. She just stood there, and they flew all around her.
She had a suitcase.
She was waiting for him.
And he is not Gallagher.
And then I saw the two of them. Talking.
To her.
